Rox Skin Studio, LLC is now offering Osmosis +Pur Medical Skincare.  Features of this unique brand are:

  • clinical ingredients with a holistic, noninflammatory approach
  • solutions targeting the source of aging and skin conditions
  • targeted dermal delivery systems
  •  free of toxic chemicals, SLS, phthalates, parabens, gluten, artificial colors, and fragrances

I was introduced to this skincare line by a colleague, and have been using it myself for about a year.  As many of my personal clients know, I have a rosacea.  Osmosis has helped a great deal with getting my skin under control and breaking the inflammation cycle.

These products do more than combat skin conditions like rosacea.  They also work wonders for a variety of skin concerns/conditions: aging, pigmentation, acne and more.  High tech formulations in Osmosis products:

  • increase skin circulation
  • improve scar remodeling
  • repair DNA
  • replenish growth factors
  • re-establish the barrier
  • restore antioxidant levels
  • activate collagen

If you have questions about what products are right for you – please reach out to me for a consultation.

You can also order products online.  When you are asked to supply your skin care professional’s code – my code is 24150.

In the coming months, I will also be launching a few new skin care treatments featuring these amazing products.  (Some of you may have already been part of my treatment development and testing with this new brand.)

Get Glowing – Featured Product – Cherry Jubilee Enzyme

08 Feb

Featured in our February special Sweetheart Facial  (book online) is the decadent and delicious smelling Cherry Jubilee Enzyme.

Cherry Jubilee is a potent antioxidant rejuvenator. Every client “oohs and aaahs” over the delicious cherry aroma. Better yet, clients enjoy the healthy glow the cherry enzymes impart on the skin.  Clients say skin is instantly smoother, softer, and feels plumper.  The primary benefit of this enzyme is the natural polyphenols (flavanoids) that are incredibly rich in antioxidants. This formula contains potent pro-youth value that mimics the strength of lactic acid and helps provide gentle exfoliation, giving skin a radiant glow and a younger, more healthy-looking appearance.

Functions of the Skin

14 Jan

Organic Facials in Plano, TXHow well do you know skin?? Our skin is truly amazing. Did you know that the skin is the largest organ of the human body…and that other than the brain, it is the most complex? The skin and its many layers comprise what is called the integumentary system. There are 6 primary functions of the integumentary system:

-protection (shields internal tissues from external toxins, pollutants, bacteria and extreme temperatures)

-absorption (vitamins, oxygen, water, and other substances penetrate the skin through thousands of pores)

-secretion (sebum keeps skin soft and pliable)

-excretion (the skin is the body’s largest wast removal system – toxins and waste are released through sweat glands and pores)

-regulation (keeps body temperature where it’s supposed to be)

-sensation (skin contains millions of nerve endings to help us detect heat, cold, pain, pressure, etc.)

So, since our skin does so much for us…it only seems fair that we do our very best to take care of it.
