I was introduced to this skincare line by a colleague, and have been using it myself for about a year.  As many of my personal clients know, I have a rosacea.  Osmosis has helped a great deal with getting my skin under control and breaking the inflammation cycle.

These products do more than combat skin conditions like rosacea.  They also work wonders for a variety of skin concerns/conditions: aging, pigmentation, acne and more.  High tech formulations in Osmosis products:

  • increase skin circulation
  • improve scar remodeling
  • repair DNA
  • replenish growth factors
  • re-establish the barrier
  • restore antioxidant levels
  • activate collagen

If you have questions about what products are right for you – please reach out to me for a consultation.

You can also order products online.  When you are asked to supply your skin care professional’s code – my code is 24150.

In the coming months, I will also be launching a few new skin care treatments featuring these amazing products.  (Some of you may have already been part of my treatment development and testing with this new brand.)

How to help skin look younger – Featured Product – Growth Factor Serum

20 Jan

What happens to the skin as it ages?

Well, what we really notice first and foremost is the desquamation process (shedding of dead skin cells) slows down. Consequently, our skin doesn’t retain moisture as well, and can appear rough, uneven and lacking the radiance of youth. Also, as the skin ages- we start to see the formation of lines and wrinkles as well as loss of firmness/tone due to the breakdown and slowdown of production of collagen and elastin in the dermis (middle layer of the skin).

So, what can we do to help skin look younger?

My top recommendations:
1) Protect (always wear sunscreen…did I say always?!)
2) Exfoliate (regular at home exfoliation and/or professional facial treatments help facilitate the removal of dead surface cells)
3) Nourish (moisturizer and growth factor serums hydrate and strengthen skin)

Speaking of nourish…Are you familiar with EGF (epidermal growth factor) as a skin care ingredient? Epidermal Growth Factor increases cell renewal after any exfoliation and assists the skin in wound healing. It is an excellent home care maintenance product in that it nourishes and provides support that slows down the aging of the skin. By topically providing the skin with this essential nutrient, the skin experiences a healthier outcome.

If you have questions about how to incorporate a Growth Factor serum into your routine, please ask. I’m happy to help!
